TURKEY EASES RESTRICTIONS AND OPENS PORTS TO INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC

Finally, the long-awaited announcement has been made, and Turkish ports have reopened to international yacht charter and traffic as of June 11th. This means yacht owners, their family, charter clients and crew will be allowed to enter Türkiye and enjoy all the coast has to offer without needing to quarantine in most cases.

This easing of restrictions is excellent news for those looking to cruise in Türkiye in 2020. Since March, the countries’ swift lockdown and containment measures helped keep the countries COVID-19 statistics in check, making Türkiye a desirable option for anyone wanting to explore the Aegean or Med this summer.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Turkish government, and it’s health, science and tourism ministries are monitoring the COVID-19 statistics closely, including daily infection rates and the risks. The easing of containment measures and reintroduction of everyday life and tourism in Türkiye is dependent on keeping the figures under control. For this reason, regulations do change at short notice.

Antimic Yacht Cleaning

ANTIMIC YACHT CLEANING

During these worrying times, 360° Yachting understand health and cleanliness is a priority. With this in mind, we are now in the position to offer clients Antimic cleaning for yachts while they’re docked in Türkiye.

Antimic is an alternative disinfectant that uses nano-technology and can be used on almost any surface. Antimic has an organic structure and is water-based; it contains no heavy metals or alcohol. It is odourless, colourless, non-toxic and eliminates bacteria, mould, fungus, and viruses. It lasts for up to a month, far longer than the majority of other cleaning products.

Samples are initially taken from areas to be disinfected. The team then attends and uses HSC ULV fogging machines to thoroughly clean the area and get rid of the bacteria present. People should not enter the zone for at least an hour after treatment. If you would like to know more or to arrange your yacht to be cleaned, please CONTACT 360° YACHTING.
