There’s a noticeable difference between yachting itineraries planned remotely and those drawn up by an agent on the ground, someone who has actively followed the course themselves. This superyacht itinerary in Turkiye is the latter — real suggestions for a route that was run recently (Spring 2026), with images taken by a crew member on a yacht cruising the Turkish coast.

What stands out is the variety on offer between Bodrum and Göcek and how well this Turkish yachting itinerary flows. From the social scene and energy of Bodrum and Yalikavak to quieter stretches around Datça, Knidos and the bays and islands around Göcek, this route offers life, interest, and tailored tours to suit guest preferences. The distances between stops are practical, and the anchorages are proven.

Overview: A 7 Day Bodrum to Gocek Yachting Itinerary

This example cruising itinerary in Turkiye follows a straightforward, proven seven-day course along the Aegean from Bodrum to Göcek. It is designed to combine established marinas, guest-requested stops at resorts, historical sites, and fine dining stops, all within practical cruising distances.

The Route:

Bodrum  → Türkbükü → Yalıkavak → Datça → Knidos → D Maris Bay → Dalyan → Göcek

The Edition Bodrum

Each leg of this Turkish itinerary is considered, with a departure from Bodrum allowing for easy access for guests from the airport. The pace works, the transitions feel natural, and operationally, it holds together with little chance of complication.

At 360 Yachting, we work with captains and crew to tailor our cruising itineraries in Türkiye to suit timelines and the interests of those onboard. Very few itineraries are the same, so please treat the following as an example and inspiration.

Day 1: Bodrum (Departure) to Türkbükü & Maçakızı

Bodrum is one of the most active yachting hubs along the Turkish coast, and a good departure point thanks to its yachting facilities and the convenient transfer times from the airport.

As you can see in the photo, the castle, originally built by the Knights of St. John in the 15th century, dominates the skyline and overlooks the harbour and marina – an impressive sight.

We often arrange larger yachts to anchor off the castle. Alternatively, depending on length and depth, Bodrum Milta Marina is located right next to the castle, a well-established base for yachts for many years, and a key operational centre on the peninsula.

360 Yachting’s regional office is based at Bodrum Milta Marina, placing us directly on hand for port and entry, clearance, provisioning, guest and logistics support, and last-minute operational requirements or technical assistance should you need it before you depart.

Türkbükü & Maçakızı

Moving on from Bodrum, the tone shifts as you head along to one of the peninsula’s most established social cruising areas, Türkbükü.

Türkbükü is known for its lively waterfront, clear waters, and high-end resorts and beach clubs. This area can become busy, particularly in peak season, but it remains a staple stop for guests seeking time off the yacht and a change of atmosphere.

At the centre of the elite social scene is Maçakızı, one of Bodrum’s most exclusive resorts. Well known for its service, Michelin-star restaurant, and beautiful setting, it draws consistent praise from the superyacht guests who have visited.

A lunch or dinner at Maçakızı works well, especially early in the itinerary, as it sets the tone for the days ahead.

Day 2: Türkbükü, Mandarin Oriental Bodrum or Maxx Royal Bodrum, Yalikavak

The second day sees us remain in Türkbükü with a visit to either Mandarin Oriental Bodrum or Maxx Royal Bodrum, both popular options offering good access, high-end amenities and spas, and fine dining experiences.

Both resorts offer privacy and exclusivity for guests, with the choice largely down to guests’ personal preference.

Mandarin Oriental Bodrum

Mandarin Oriental Bodrum is known for understated luxury. Set across terraced levels in a secluded bay, it offers a tranquil, residential feel rather than a full-on resort atmosphere. Here, guests can enjoy the beach, a range of dining options, or partake in sports and wellness activities.

Aside from a fabulous spa, the resort is also home to the new Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, making it a good option for guests looking to stay on top of their game.

Maxx Royal Bodrum

Maxx Royal Bodrum, by contrast, offers a more contemporary, lifestyle-led experience. The atmosphere is more energetic, with bold design, an extremely popular beach club, Scorpios (of Mykonos fame), adding a social element that transitions from day to night. Maxx Royal Bodrum tends to appeal to guests who enjoy a more stylish, vibrant social itinerary.

The route then moves back along the coast to Yalikavak.

Yalikavak Marina Bodrum

Yalikavak &Yalikavak Marina

When it comes to cruising in Türkiye, Yalikavak is one of the most established stops for superyachts, yet outside the marina, the area miraculously still retains elements of its original character — whitewashed houses, hillside windmills, and a coastline that opens out to the Aegean.

At the centre of the scene is Yalıkavak Marina, a flagship facility designed to cater to the elite and their yachts. From the marina, we can offer full yacht support, from fuel and technical services to provisioning and logistics, making it a reliable point for preparing for the rest of the itinerary – plus the social scene for guests and crew is hard to beat! You can stay at Yalikavak Marina or move across to The Edition Bodrum to overnight.

Yalikavak Marina

Yalikavak Dining, Shopping & Atmosphere

Beyond yacht operations, Yalikavak Marina is one of the Bodrum Peninsula’s main lifestyle destinations.

The marina is lined with well-known international restaurants and luxury designer boutiques. Guests can browse the shops and facilities and dip into the dining and social scene if they wish, all within a short walk of the berth – a good place to overnight or maybe move on to the EDITION.

Day 3: Yalikavak, The EDITION Bodrum & Datca

Moving on from Yalikavak Marina, you can stop at The EDITION, offering a quieter contrast to the high energy of Yalıkavak Marina, or head straight to Datça.

The EDITION is a refined, stylish resort known for its fine dining, amenities, and understated atmosphere.

The bay and access to The EDITION Bodrum are straightforward, and the overall feel is ideal for guests looking to step ashore without the intensity and crowds of a busy marina.

The EDITION Bodrum

A key highlight at The EDITION Bodrum is Kitchen by Osman Sezener, the hotel’s signature restaurant, which holds a Michelin Star. The focus at Kitchen is on Aegean cuisine, built around seasonal, locally sourced produce, much of which comes from their own culinary garden. Kitchen has received outstanding reviews from guests who have dined there, making it a highlight for any discerning fine dining lovers you may be hosting.

Datca

Day 4: Datça, Knidos & D Maris Bay

The fourth day sees the itinerary move away from Bodrum to the Datça Peninsula, known for its beauty and clear waters.

At the far western tip sits Knidos, one of the most distinctive anchorages on the Turkish coast. Surrounded by the remains of an ancient city and famed for its two harbours, the amphitheatre, and the crumbling old harbour walls, they are still clearly visible. Here, we can organise a guide to take guests to view the ruins, or you can choose to do this at leisure if you prefer.

Knidos

Datça and/or Eski Datça (Old Town)

The main town of Datça is a relatively low-key resort that’s nice to stroll, enjoy a light lunch, and explore.

Alternatively, there’s Eski Datça (Old Datça), a short drive inland, that’s an Instagram-worthy village filled with quaint, traditional stone houses, narrow streets, and bougainvillaea-lined walkways – the entire feel is far removed from the tourist hubs and marina scene. Here, guests can explore, stop for coffee and a light lunch, and buy local souvenirs if they wish, adding an authentic experience and natural contrast to the more polished stops.

D Maris Bay & Resort

Having spent time in Datça, we move slightly further east, to D Maris Resort and Bay, which reintroduces the more high-end offerings guests might prefer.

This sophisticated resort offers controlled access and a selection of private beach areas, restaurants, and facilities, making it well-suited to superyacht guests.

Highlights at D Maris Resort and Bay include the beach club and dining options, spa and wellness facilities, and secure, well-managed, premium access for guests.

Dalyan

Day 5: Ekincik Bay, Dalyan & Iztuzu Beach

Dalyan isn’t a direct yacht stop on the itinerary, which is part of its appeal. We advise yachts to anchor off Ekincik Bay, which offers broad, sheltered anchorages and good holding for larger vessels.

From here, we arrange a private guided tour via a licensed river boat to Dalyan to see the famous rock tombs of Kaunos.

Dalyan river cruise

The Dalyan Delta, Rock Tombs & İztuzu Beach

From Ekincik, the experience shifts inland via river boat as guests are taken through the Dalyan Delta, a network of winding river channels, reed beds, and lagoons that open out gradually towards the coast. It’s a calm, almost still landscape — a complete contrast to the open sea.

Along the route, the Lycian rock tombs of Kaunos become visible above the river, carved into the cliffsides high above the water.

Guests can finish the tour at İztuzu Beach, one of the longest and most impressive natural sandbanks in Turkiye, also known as Turtle Beach. This beach is protected as it is a nesting site for endangered Caretta Caretta (loggerhead turtles). Thankfully, this has meant that development in the area is tightly controlled, leaving the beach and surrounding delta largely untouched. In addition, there’s also a turtle hospital and sanctuary in the area that some guests may wish to visit.

Dalyan is a memorable stop for most guests, and it offers the opportunity to take a private tour of the delta, ancient tombs, and river.  We can arrange the entire experience that suits guests seeking something natural, protected, and completely different.

Day 6 & 7: Gocek & Gocek Islands

The final leg draws the itinerary towards Göcek, Türkiye’s original sailing and cruising grounds, and 360 Yachting’s hometown.

The Göcek islands are the main draw — a network of stunning bays and inlets that provide phenomenal cruising and scenery. There’s lots to explore, from secluded bays perfect for swim stops to more popular bays such as Bedri Rahmi Bay, Sarsala, and Hamam Bay.

Gocek itinerary

You can easily spend a couple of days cruising around Gocek or choose to head into Gocek town itself, where we can make reservations at several marinas that cater to superyachts (Port Azure, D-Marin Gocek, and Skopia Marina).

Göcek is one of the most reliable locations for turnarounds or extended stays. All the marinas mentioned offer excellent facilities and support, plus Dalaman Airport is a 20-minute transfer away, making guest departure easy. CONTACT US for more details.
