The 360° Yachting team were lucky enough to be invited to take a tour of the new 18-hole Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme golf course, currently under construction and scheduled to open in June 2026. Seeing the site and reviewing progress on the ground, it was clear that this project is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the region — not just for golfers, but also for superyacht owners and guests planning their Turkish itineraries in 2026.

For years, captains hosting golf-loving guests have had to plan their yachting itineraries to include visits to courses in Belek or Bodrum. With this new course now taking shape, just a 20-minute drive from the superyacht marinas in Göcek and within a 20-minute drive of Dalaman International Airport, that will no longer be the case. Instead, from mid-summer, we will be able to arrange a round of golf at the new Hilton course in Dalaman as part of your Göcek-Fethiye-based yachting itineraries — a prospect we know will appeal to many captains and guests.

Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Golf Course – A First for the Region

The 18-hole golf course at the Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort represents a genuine first for this part of the Turkish coast. While Gocek and Fethiye have long been a popular cruising ground for superyachts, the area has never offered a championship-standard golf course until now.

For captains, this meant compromise. Yachting itineraries that needed to cater to owners or guests wishing to play golf in Türkiye needed to include visits to the likes of the Montgomerie Maxx Royal Golf Resort, Lykia Links, or the Cornelia golf course in Belek, or to factor in a round at Regnum near Bodrum. Neither option sat naturally with a short or relaxed Göcek-focused itinerary. This is why the opening of the new Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme golf course is so exciting, as it opens up the Gocek and Fethiye Gulf as cruising grounds for captains hosting golf enthusiasts.

Dalaman, A Location That Works Well for Superyachts

From a yachting perspective, location is always key — and this is where the Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme golf course truly stands out.

The course is part of the Hilton Dalaman Sarıgerme Resort & Spa, a superb 5-star resort with a wide range of high-end facilities. The course is located a 20-minute drive from Dalaman International Airport and a 20-minute transfer from Göcek and its marinas, making it easily accessible if you are cruising the Göcek and Fethiye region.

For captains, this means flexible itinerary and planning options. Guests can step ashore from the yacht in Göcek, enjoy a comfortable short transfer, play a round of golf, and return on board the same day — without disrupting the rhythm of the itinerary.

Its proximity to the 360° Yachting head office in Gocek also allows us to coordinate timings, transfers, and local logistics efficiently, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Dalaman’s New Championship-Level Golf Course

The new Dalaman Hilton golf course is designed by the International Design Group and is developed as a par-72, 18-hole championship course, to meet international standards. Early plans confirm a course length of approximately 6,152 meters from the back tees, supported by modern training and clubhouse facilities.

What stood out during our visit was how the course has been carefully planned and integrated into the surrounding landscape. Rather than forcing dramatic elevation changes, the design works well with the area’s natural terrain, creating an engaging, playable, and visually appealing layout.

Other facilities planned for the site include:

• A driving range
• Putting and short-game practice areas
• A dedicated clubhouse

This balance makes the golf course suited to both experienced golfers and novice players — ideal for mixed groups.

Golf – A Natural Extension for the Itinerary

Göcek is known for its islands, sheltered bays, and relaxed cruising grounds. The addition of a nearby golf course means that, instead of long inland excursions, captains can now offer guests:

• A leisurely morning cruise followed by an afternoon round of golf

• A new sporting activity/option for repeat guests who are familiar with the region
