Göcek is one of Türkiye’s most established yachting destinations, with sheltered bays, island-dotted cruising grounds and easy access to some of the most beautiful anchorages on the Turquoise Coast. Today, Göcek superyacht marinas provide an impressive choice of berthing for larger yachts, from established town-centre facilities to purpose-built berths for megayachts.
Port Azure’s arrival in 2021 significantly expanded Göcek’s appeal for superyachts and megayachts, joining well-established Göcek facilities like Skopea Marina and D-Marin Göcek. For captains planning a call, the choice extends well beyond berth size, with location, technical requirements, guest concierge, airport access and onward cruising all playing a part. Here, we take a fresh look at Göcek’s superyacht berthing options, what each marina offers, and the Göcek superyacht support on hand to ensure all your needs are catered to.

The Evolution of Göcek Superyacht Marinas
Like many places in Turkiye, Gocek boasts a fascinating history. Today, the hillsides surrounding the bay are home to luxury villas and multi-million-dollar properties. But according to legend, it was from these very hills that Icarus took off, then landed in the sea after his famous flight to escape imprisonment. The harbour hasn’t always been filled with the fine restaurants and designer boutiques we find today. Göcek was once an industrial harbour used to ship chrome, and before that, it was awash with pirates and sea bandits!
That said, Göcek has evolved into a strong yachting destination. Its naturally sheltered position provides an excellent base on Türkiye’s southwest coast, while the local waters are dotted with beautiful islands, crystal-clear anchorages, and bays ideal for swim stops. Dalaman International Airport is also close enough to make crew changes, guest transfers and yacht logistics straightforward.
What has changed considerably since this article was first published in 2020 is the choice of marinas and facilities now available to larger yachts. Göcek’s established marinas have continued to develop, while the arrival of Port Azure brought purpose-built megayacht berthing to the area. Today, Göcek superyacht marinas range from facilities right in the heart of town and near the 360° Yachting office to more specialised berthing designed specifically for some of the world’s largest yachts.
For captains, that means the question is no longer simply “Can we berth in Göcek given our length and draft?” but rather “Which marina best suits the yacht and this particular port of call?”

Skopea Marina: Where Göcek’s Superyacht Marina Story Began
Long before Göcek developed into the well-loved yachting hub we know today, there was Skopea Marina. Established in 1989 as Türkiye’s first private marina, Skopea Marina played an important role in putting Göcek on the yachting map and remains one of the town’s most well-known and popular berthing locations.
Its position is still one of its greatest advantages. Skopea sits directly on the Göcek waterfront, within easy walking distance of the town’s restaurants, cafés, shops and everyday facilities. For yachts and guests who want to be in the centre rather than tucked away in a more secluded marina, it is a particularly convenient choice.
The marina has 80 berths and continues to cater for large yachts and megayachts, with larger vessels generally accommodated along the outer quay. Water and shore power are available at the berths, alongside security and marina assistance. As availability for larger yachts can vary by LOA, beam, and draft, please contact us in advance if you would like a berth reservation at Skopea Marina so we can confirm space and suitability.

D-Marin Göcek: A Well-Equipped Base for Larger Yachts
Search “best superyacht berths in Göcek”, and you’ll read many glowing reviews suggesting D-Marin Göcek due to its impressive facilities for yachts, crew and guests.
Set within its own sheltered bay just a short distance from the town centre, D-Marin Göcek is a popular choice for many captains as it combines a modern marina environment with the infrastructure and facilities needed to accommodate larger yachts.
The marina currently has 388 berths and can accommodate yachts up to 85 metres, alongside dry-dock capacity for 150 vessels. Mooring assistance is available 24 hours a day, with shore power, water, waste collection and technical services among the facilities available to visiting yachts.
Its leisure facilities are also impressive, including a 250-meter blue-flag beach, quality accommodation, several excellent restaurants and bars, and a spa perfect for keeping all those heading ashore entertained.
For captains comparing Göcek superyacht marinas, D-Marin is a strong all-rounder, offering decent berthing capacity, established shoreside infrastructure, a protected location, and great on-site leisure facilities. The 360° Yachting head office is also within easy reach, so we can easily arrange any yachting provisioning, technical assistance, yacht spare parts shipments, transfers, trips and concierge requirements you may have.

Port Azure: A Purpose-Built Megayacht Marina in Gocek
Port Azure Marina changed the scale of superyacht berthing available in Göcek when it opened in 2021. Located away from the town centre in the naturally protected Büngüş Bay, it was developed specifically to provide giga and megayacht berths in Göcek rather than adapting an existing marina to accommodate them.
The marina accepts yachts up to 150 metres and centres around a substantial 245-metre concrete dock, with direct vehicle access to the yachts. High-capacity shore power of up to 1,000 amps, fuel supply and year-round technical support reflect the size of yachts Port Azure was designed to handle. Storage, water collection, waste and dirty-oil disposal are also available on site.
Privacy and security are another part of its proposition. Port Azure operates 24-hour surveillance using CCTV, laser detection and thermal-camera systems. Crew facilities extend beyond the operational basics, with a gym, cinema and gaming rooms among the amenities provided for yachts staying for longer periods.
Port Azure’s position also keeps the practical side of a Göcek trip and access to Göcek superyacht agents and ground support straightforward, whilst Dalaman International Airport is only a 20-minute drive away, as is the Hilton Dalaman Golf Course, placing it in a highly convenient location logistically as well as for access to Göcek’s incredible cruising grounds.
For captains of extremely large yachts considering Göcek superyacht marinas and berths, Port Azure has filled a gap that simply didn’t exist here before 2021. It gives Göcek a dedicated megayacht facility capable of handling yachts of immense size, all within easy reach of the town and recommended superyacht ground support.
