From the 5th to the 8th of April, the charming coastal town of Alacati pays respect to local, wild herbs grown in the region. The 9th Alacati herb festival, attended by cooks, bloggers and tourists from all over Turkey focuses on traditional dishes, to mark the arrival of Spring on the Izmir peninsula.
While you are there, spend a few days exploring quaint, cobbled streets and 19th century stone houses, that are the landmark feature of Alacati. Known as one of the best windsurfing spots in Turkey, the town also lures in creative artisans attracted by its inspiration vibes. See our itinerary planning services here.
